I work shift work including day and night shifts. A definite perk is seeing sunrises like this one over Signal Hill this morning.

Movie List
The fiancé and I are movie lovers.
Well I'm the bigger movie lover but he loves them too I swear!
We came up with a list of movies to watch together when we first starting dating. Progress has been made but there is more work to be done. Some are favourites of one of us and some are just movies we've been meaning to see.
If you have a suggestion, let me know. I'll have follow up posts with our progress and thoughts. Movies in red have been watched.

My story
Hello readers
I've blogged before but not for a few years. Starting again with a fresh and new one. I've been wanting to blog again for quite a while and am finally getting to it. Yay me!
I'm from the small town of Middle Cove outside the small city of St. John's on the island of Newfoundland. My dad passed away when I was 17 which had a huge impact on my life. I'm an only child and its been just me and mom since then. Needless to say we're pretty close.
Having reached my mid-30s I was losing hope that I'd meet that special someone to spend my life with. Now I'm planning a wedding (omg!!). Jay and I found each other despite the odds and are making the big walk down the aisle in a couple of months.
My day job is at The Rooms as an Education and Public Programming Officer. So I get to share the history of culture of Newfoundland and Labrador with school kids and the general public both from here and from away. And I love it! I've worked in interpretation and in non-formal educational settings for over 10 years. I'm a trained teacher and use that training to develop and implement programming that is both educational and fun.
I'm on the edge of some pretty big life changes. Change is always scary and exciting. Seems like a natural time to share that experience and gain insight from others.
Cheers,
Laurie
